JAPAN MONTESSORI AWARD 2010

Japan Montessori Research Institute is going to offer the “Japan Montessori Award” with the first prize 300,000JPY, total prizes 1,000,000JPY. We are looking forward to your contribution. What do you think Montessori Education can and should do for the children NOW to build the hopeful and peaceful world?

1. Send us essays and proposals on for example:

 

・How do you think about Montessori Education as it is now?

・What should Montessori Education aim?

・How do you think the children who learned in a Montessori school?

・Montessori Education and the computer.

・Montessori Education and the education for peace.

2. Reports of your practices and observations in the Montessori schools or at home as follows:

 

・Montessori Education and the gifted children.

・Montessori Education and the handicapped children.

・Montessori Education and physical training / music / fine art / plays & games

・The child I met as a Montessori teacher.

・How I applied Montessori way of teaching to my children at home.

・The new materials I invented.

・The new presentations I devised.

...etc.

We will accept your works from 1st Jun. 2010 till 30th Sep. 2010. We will not receive except the above mentioned term.
＊Any forms and styles of the works(papers, videos CDs etc.) will be OK.
＊The titles and page numbers of the quoted books must be specified.

●

We are going to publish a book which contains the works of the prize winners.
＊All rights will be reserved by us for 10 years.
